DIGITALISASI PENDIDIKAN DAN GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN: SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational digitalization in principal leadership, identify the leadership styles used by principals in facing educational digitalization, and explain the contribution of principal leadership styles to improving educational quality in the digital era. This study employed a qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Research data were obtained from various national and international scientific articles relevant to the research topic through academic databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and ERIC. Data collection techniques were carried out through the identification, selection, evaluation, and analysis of articles relevant to the research focus. The results showed that the implementation of educational digitalization was carried out through the utilization of technology in school administration, digital learning, technology-based communication, and the development of teachers’ digital competencies. Transformational leadership emerged as the most dominant leadership style used by principals in facing digital transformation, followed by democratic leadership, visionary leadership, and digital leadership. In addition, principal leadership styles significantly contributed to improving educational quality through enhancing learning quality, school management effectiveness, teacher competence, and the development of technology-based school culture. This study confirms that the success of educational digitalization is strongly influenced by the effectiveness of principal leadership in managing educational transformation in the digital era.
