Plagiarism Policy

Nosipakabelo: Jurnal Konseling dan Bimbingan Keislaman upholds high standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a similarity check to ensure originality and to prevent plagiarism in any form.

Plagiarism includes but is not limited to:

  1. Referring to and/or quoting terms, words, sentences, data, or information from a source without properly citing or acknowledging the source.
  2. Referring to and/or quoting random terms, words, or sentences, data, or information from a source without adequate citation or acknowledgment.
  3. Using ideas, opinions, views, or theories from a source without clearly stating or citing the source.
  4. Paraphrasing words, sentences, ideas, or theories from a source without providing appropriate citation.
  5. Submitting a scientific work that has been produced and/or published by another author as if it were one’s own without proper acknowledgment.

 

Prevention

Nosipakabelo: Jurnal Konseling dan Bimbingan Keislaman ensures that every submitted and published manuscript has a similarity index of no more than 20%. All manuscripts are checked for similarity using Turnitin or other reliable plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

 

Sanctions

Any manuscript found to contain plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or duplicate publication will be subject to the following sanctions:

  1. Reprimand to the author(s);
  2. Written warning;
  3. Revocation of the article;
  4. Cancellation of publication and blacklisting of the author(s) for future submission.
