Nosipakabelo: Jurnal Konseling dan Bimbingan Keislaman is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and taking all necessary measures to prevent publication malpractice. The Editorial Board plays a key role in ensuring the integrity of the publication process. Unethical behavior, including plagiarism and data falsification, is strictly prohibited.
Authors who submit their manuscripts affirm that the contents are original and have not been published previously, in whole or in part, in any language. Submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is considered unethical and unacceptable.

Section A: Publication and Authorship

Section B: Authors’ Responsibilities

- Authors must confirm that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
- Authors are responsible for participating in the peer-review process.
- All authors listed must have made a significant contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.
- Authors must provide accurate, authentic, and verifiable data.
- Authors are obligated to disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence their work.
- Authors must properly acknowledge all sources and references used in the research.
- Authors must notify the editor promptly if they discover significant errors or inaccuracies after publication and cooperate in correcting or retracting the paper.
Section C: Reviewers’ Responsibilities
- Reviewers must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents.
- Reviews should be conducted objectively, with clear, evidence-based feedback and without personal criticism.
- Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the author.
- Reviewers must report any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript and other works known to them.
- Reviewers must decline review assignments where they have conflicts of interest arising from relationships or affiliations with the authors or related institutions.
Section D: Editors’ Responsibilities
- Editors have full authority to accept or reject a manuscript based on its quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
- Editors are responsible for maintaining the academic integrity and quality of the publication.
- Editors should consider the needs of both authors and readers in improving the journal.
- Editors must ensure the anonymity of reviewers and uphold a fair, unbiased review process.
- Editors should publish corrections, clarifications, or retractions when necessary.
- Editorial decisions must be based solely on academic merit and relevance, without influence from commercial or personal factors.
- Editors must act promptly in cases of suspected misconduct, regardless of whether the paper has been published.
- Editors must ensure that all published research adheres to international ethical standards.
- Editors should not have any conflicts of interest with respect to the articles they consider for publication.
