TEOLOGI ISLAM DAN HAK ASASI MANUSIA DALAM PEMIKIRAN ABDULLAHI AHMED AN-NA’IM

Researchers have widely discussed research on human rights, but there has not been much writing that specifically connects the theological aspects with practical aspects. This research examines the construction of Ahmed An-Na'im's theology and its relevance to the problems of modern society. This article is literature research that examines the thoughts of figures through historical analysis. The primary data is an essay by the figure studied, Abdullahi Ahmed An-Nai'im: Toward an Islamic Reformation: Civil Liberties, Human Rights and International Law, Islam and the Secular State. Meanwhile, secondary sources are other works that discuss An-Na'im's thoughts, human rights, and Islamic theology. This research concludes that An-Na'im made the Universal Declaration of Human Rights a strong instrument to protect the glory, honor, and dignity of every human being on Earth. This research makes an important contribution as a theological and practical basis for eliminating all forms of human rights violations and making human values the main element in law and social interaction in social and state life.

RESPONS TAFSIR AL-QUR’AN TERHADAP TANTANGAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) DI ERA BONUS DEMOGRAFI DALAM MEWUJUDKAN PERADABAN

There have been many articles discussing the negative impact of technological developments on human life, but not many articles have discussed how the Qur'an responds to this problem. This article discusses the interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab in Tafsir Al-Mishbah and its contextualization as a solution to the challenges of AI in the era of the demographic bonus to create a quality civilization. This article focuses on the interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab in QS. al-Nazi'at (79): 40, QS. al-Ahzab (33): 21, QS. Yunus (10): 100, QS. al-'Ashr (103): 1-3 and QS. al-Taubah (9): 105. The researcher used a content analysis study of this interpretation with sociological analysis. This research confirms that in facing the challenges of AI in this demographic bonus era, the spirit of the Koran encourages humanity to increase self-control to the maximum. The Qur'an provides a comprehensive guide for human life which includes character education, morality, time management, and self-control, as well as encouragement to strive to achieve a wise life amidst the very rapid development of technology.

PRAGMATISME SEBAGAI FILSAFAT KONTEMPORER: URGENSI DAN IMPLEMENTASI DALAM ILMU KEISLAMAN

This research discusses the urgency of the philosophy of pragmatism for the advancement of Islamic science and its implementation. The philosophy of Pragmatism was coined by Charles Sanders Peirce who explained the concept of thinking (methodology). The components of pragmatism philosophy are belief, the habit of mind, doubt, inquiry, and meaning. So, to give birth to renewal in Islamic knowledge, doubt is needed regarding beliefs that have become habits of mind. Once there is doubt, you can carry out an inquiry through scientific research. Meaning can be seen from whether the research is useful or not. This type of research is library research with the sourcebook Contemporary Analytic Philosophy published by Macmillan Publishing New York in 1981 by Milton K. Munitz. The way this research works is to apply the concept of pragmatism philosophy to the thinking of Muslim scholars, namely Jasser Auda regarding maqashid al-syari'ah and Abdullah Saeed regarding contextual interpretation. This research shows that the two figures started from a doubt (doubt) in the methodological construction of classical jurisprudence and the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an which is based on existing beliefs. The two figures carried out an inquiry to produce new ideas for the advancement of Islamic knowledge.

RAHMAH EL YUNUSIYAH’S MODERNIZATION OF INDONESIAN WOMEN ULAMA FIGURES IN EDUCATIONAL

This research aims to develop Rahmah El-Yunusiyah's ideas on education about the present time, by raising relevant topics under the demands of the 21st century. The approach used in this research is Library Research. The approach taken is to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret the research that has been done. This research method is by collecting related journal articles for this research report. Based on the research findings, Rahmah El Yunusiyah's perspective of Islamic Religious Education aims to teach men and women to learn about Islam from an early age until the end of life, a positive example, and under their respective times. The idea of the transformation of Islam pioneered by Rahmah El Yunusiyah and her relationship with society makes her ideas relevant to the 21st century. This becomes very important in the face of globalization which demands broad capabilities, especially in terms of connectivity. Rahmah El Yunusiyah's ideas on education need to be appreciated and researched further.

REINTERPRETASI PSIKOANALISA FANA’ IMAM AL-JUNAID DALAM MASYARAKAT URBAN

Globalization creates harmony between material and spiritual aspects. This phenomenon results in a spiritual crisis which is characterized by a decline in religious values and worship practices that lose their meaning. In this context, this research examines Imam Junaid's concept of fana' and its implementation in the living environment of urban society. By using library research methods and Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic approach, this research shows that Imam Junaid's concept of fana' can be an effective spiritual solution to face the challenges of the digital era. Through psychoanalytic reinterpretation, this concept is relevant and applicable to pragmatic and rational modern society. It can be a concrete strategy such as controlling consumerism, building strong life principles, and achieving self-awareness amidst the hustle and bustle of urban areas. However, the main challenge lies in bridging the gap between classical spiritual concepts and contemporary reality, and ensuring that its spiritual essence is not reduced to a purely psychological phenomenon. The effectiveness of implementing this concept in overcoming concrete problems in urban communities still requires further evaluation and research

PERAN NEUROSAINS DALAM PENINGKATAN TEKNIK HAFALAN AL-QUR’AN

This study discusses the role of neuroscience in Qur'an memorization learning and its relationship with Qur'an memorization techniques. However, most memorizers pay little attention to and do not understand the benefits of neuroscience in memorizing the Qur'an. In addition, the memorization techniques currently used focus solely on the learning aspect without being linked to neuroscience. Therefore, this study aims to identify brain functions and memory processes in Qur'an memorization learning and examine the relationship between neuroscience and Qur'an memorization techniques. To achieve these objectives, this study employs a literature review methodology to answer the research questions. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between neuroscience and Qur'an memorization techniques. By understanding the connection between neuroscience and Qur'an memorization, memorizers can improve the quality of their memorization. This study provides insight into the importance of understanding brain functions and memory processes for Quran memorizers. Memorization techniques can be adjusted based on neuroscience knowledge to enhance the effectiveness and quality of memorization.

MANAJEMEN KONFLIK PENDIRIAN RUMAH IBADAH DI KOTA PALU

This research is related to managing conflict in the establishment of houses of worship in Palu City, a case study of the policies and strategies of the FKUB of Palu City. So the description is based on the problems (1) What are the strategies and policies of the FKUB in managing conflicts in the establishment of houses of worship in Palu City? (2) How effective is the strategy and policy of conflict management of the FKUB of Palu City?, (3) What are the obstacles and challenges faced in the conflict management process in Palu City? This study uses qualitative research methods through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data obtained were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion—the results of the study show (1). FKUB is an institution that has the authority to manage conflicts over the establishment of houses of worship as stated in the Joint Decree of the Ministers (KBM) of Religion and Education in CHAPTER VI article 21 paragraph 2. In managing conflicts over the establishment of houses of worship in Palu City, FKUB applies strategies and policies. First, collaboration (collaborative strategy) by involving all elements of society such as village heads, RT, traditional leaders, youth leaders, LPM, Babinsa, and Babinkamtibmas. Second, effective communication (effective communication) such as in the case of the cancellation of the church house of worship on Jalan Tanjung Balantak, South Lolu Village by gathering all the people and communicating with the mayor. So that the conflict can be resolved and there is no physical clash between the local community. Third, government regulatory policies (public policy) with the Joint Decree of the Ministers no. 8/9 which regulates the provisions and requirements for the establishment of houses of worship and also regulates the pattern of conflict handling, so that these provisions can provide stability to the diverse society in Palu City. (2). The effectiveness of the strategy and policy of the Palu City FKUB in the management and administration of the conflict over the establishment of houses of worship in Palu City can be seen from its success in managing the conflict by always providing recommendations for the establishment of houses of worship. (3). Meanwhile, the obstacles and challenges of Palu City FKUB as an institution authorized to handle the conflict over the establishment of houses of worship does not experience many obstacles and challenges because the people of Palu City have a high tolerance for religious diversity. Contribution/Benefits: From the findings of the study on conflict management in the establishment of houses of worship, a study of policies and strategies of the Palu City FKUB. The Palu City FKUB applies a strategy of collaboration, and accommodation communication and implements the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion and Home Affairs (KBM) No. 8/9. The Palu City FKUB in carrying out conflict management uses a preventive approach or preventive measures such as conducting socialization and counseling on the requirements for building houses of worship. The contribution of this research for the FKUB is strengthening the conflict resolution policy or after the conflict occurs because the results of this study, the Palu City FKUB only handles conflicts before the conflict occurs (preventive management). For academics, this study provides a concrete picture of the dynamics of the construction of houses of worship in the City of Palu which can be used as a comparison with research in other areas or comparing conflict strategies in other cities. For the community, it provides an understanding of the importance of interfaith dialogue to maintain social harmony and make the community aware of the role of the FKUB as a facilitator who can bridge differences.
