Strategi sintesis materi pai untuk pembelajaran berorientasi integratif
Abstract
Integrative learning is an instructional approach grounded in constructivist learning theory that emphasizes respect for learners’ diversity, potential, and creativity in the learning process. As proposed by Masykuri Bakri, effective learning should acknowledge individual differences and students’ creative ideas as essential elements in knowledge construction. Integrative learning places students at the center of the learning process through active conceptual and practical engagement in real-life contexts. This approach integrates multiple disciplines through content connections, engaging learning experiences, problem-solving activities, collaboration, and reflective practices, making learning more meaningful and contextual. Furthermore, integrative learning contributes to the development of 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication, while enhancing students’ learning motivation. In the context of Islamic education, integrative learning connects scientific knowledge with Islamic values derived from the Qur’an and Hadith through the paradigms of bayani, burhani, and irfani. With its student-centered, holistic, and process-oriented characteristics, integrative learning is directed toward constructing students’ knowledge, attitudes, and experiences to enable them to respond comprehensively and applicatively to contemporary issues, events, and social realities.
