https://jurnal.uindatokarama.ac.id/index.php/nosipakabelo/article/view/4383

The rapid development of information technology has brought significant changes to the way humans communicate and interact, especially among teenagers. This research aims to understand the experiences of teenagers in seeking self-validation thru social media and its impact on social anxiety. This research uses a phenomenological qualitative approach involving 3 adolescent and young adult subjects who actively use social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Data were obtained thru in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively phenomenologically following Creswell's stages. The research results show that the three subjects have different motivations for using social media, but all are rooted in the need for recognition and social acceptance. Social validation in the form of "likes," positive comments, and the number of followers has been proven to affect the psychological condition of the subjects, where positive responses lead to feelings of self-confidence and self-satisfaction, while a lack of validation causes feelings such as anxiety, disappointment, and low self-esteem. Additionally, it was found that social media plays a dual role, capable of boosting self-confidence in online interactions, but can decrease comfort in face-to-face communication. This research emphasizes the importance of balancing external and internal validation so that teenagers can build a healthy self-identity in the digital era, and consequently, their self-confidence and self-satisfaction will also increase.
Cut Triana PutriSri Nurhayati Selian

https://jurnal.uindatokarama.ac.id/index.php/nosipakabelo/article/view/4345

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-reflection on self-efficacy behavior among students at the Anwarul Quran Islamic Boarding School in Palu City. This quantitative descriptive study used a research instrument to collect data and statistical analysis to test the established hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that self-reflection has a positive and significant correlation with self-efficacy. Based on the results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test using IBM SPSS Statistics 27, the calculated R value was 0.713 > Rtable 0.254 and had a significant value or Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 in the correlations table with a value (significance level) of 0.05. This means that the value 0.000 < 0.05 with this value indicates that self-reflection signifies a significant relationship with self-efficacy. This study can also be proven by the results of a simple linear regression test which shows that self-reflection affects self-efficacy, as can be seen from the Sig. value of 0.001 < 0.05 in the Coefficients table. This means that the result of 0.001 < 0.05 signifies that self-reflection has an effect on self-efficacy.
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that self-reflection and self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence with a correlation coefficient value of 0.713. This shows that the higher the self-reflection of students, the higher their self-efficacy. Conversely, the lower the self-reflection of students, the lower their self-efficacy. The implication of this study is that students are advised to maintain a high level of self-reflection by connecting their feelings and experiences. Then, they should utilize positive emotions and eliminate negative emotions that hinder their behavior. Students who have low self-reflection should be able to control themselves and always understand themselves by reflecting on themselves so that their self-efficacy will have a positive impact in the future.
maknunahAdamYulian Sri Lestari

https://jurnal.uindatokarama.ac.id/index.php/nosipakabelo/article/view/4534

This research aims to describe the implementation of guidance and counseling (BK) services at SMP Islam Telukjambe and to explore the experiences of BK teachers and students in the implementation process. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation techniques and semi-structured interviews with guidance and counseling teachers and several students. The research results show that the BK services at SMP Telukjambe are implemented in stages, starting from the class teacher, student affairs, and then to the BK teacher if the problem is not resolved. The guidance counselor plays a role in handling serious cases with an individual approach, informal communication, and home visits. The main obstacles include the negative influence of social media and the stigma that guidance counselors are intimidating. However, students who utilize the BK services experience positive benefits, both emotionally and academically. In conclusion, a humanistic approach and cooperation between the guidance counselor, homeroom teacher, subject teachers, and parents are very important to enhance the effectiveness of guidance services in schools
Mutiara Ayu Pratiwi tiaraPuput Fadila Layyina PuputNina Nurhavifah NinaRisma Amelia Putri RismaNur Aini Farida Aini
