Abstract

Guidance on reading the Qur'an as part of the process of implementing the tri dharma, namely community service through the work program activities of KKN students at the State Islamic University (UIN) Datokarama Palu together with tutors to jointly focus on solving students' problems and jointly addressing the characteristics of children who generally still heterogeneous. Therefore, this service activity aims to find out the learning experiences gained by KKN UIN Datokarama Palu students while carrying out community service activities. The method used is the service-learning. From the method applied can be known the implementation of Al-Qur'an reading guidance for early childhood at TPQ Al Fatah, is going quite well. From these results, the benefit felt directly by UIN Datokarama Palu KKN students is increased experience, especially in applying the knowledge gained in college to society. In other words, the implementation of guidance that has been carried out jointly with the tutor at TPQ Al Fatah is quite effective in helping KKN students and the community in Ogoamas II Village. For this reason, in the future regional governments, especially the Ministry of Religion, will pay as much attention as possible to the welfare of high-paid teachers, in the regions.
