Abstract

The implementation of mosque-based KKN by implementing the Qur'an Reading and Writing (BTQ) guidance program aims to assist one of the driving communities of Sese Village, namely Koran teachers, to jointly manage one of the potential human resource assets, in this case teaching reading and writing the Qur'an. so that in adulthood they are better able to understand and practice the Qur'an properly and correctly. This is important to implement in the form of a program because understanding and practicing the Qur'an is an obligation and an activity that has the value of worship. The implementation method used in this activity is the Participatory Action Research method or what is usually abbreviated as the PAR method. From the methods applied in implementing the BTQ program carried out by KKN UIN Datokarama Palu students together with the Koran teacher produced a BTQ guidance guide book which contains methods that can be applied in reading the Qur'an, one of which is the qira'ati method. Meanwhile, the material applied in Al Qur'an writing lessons is by the needs in the field. The entire series of BTQ guidance implementations carried out by KKN students together with Koran Recitation Teachers closed with a BTQ competition which was attended by the parents of the students and interested parties such as representatives from the regional government represented by the village head, sub-district head and section heads—religious matters. The last of all the series of activities carried out by UIN Datokarama Palu students together with Koran Recitation Teachers was jointly drawing up a follow-up plan containing concrete steps including creating a community by utilizing the social media WhatsApp to share information and evaluation material.
