Synergy of Curriculum of Love and Ai Technology in Shaping Students' Islamic Character
Abstract
The integration of emotional and moral values within education, often referred to as a "curriculum of love," has gained renewed significance in the modern era, especially in Islamic education. Simultaneously, the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers powerful tools to enhance the learning process, including the moral and spiritual development of students. This study explores how the synergy between a curriculum centered on compassion, empathy, and Islamic values, and the use of AI technology, can effectively shape students' Islamic character. By analyzing educational practices in Islamic schools, the research investigates how AI can support teachers in delivering personalized, value-based education without compromising the essence of spiritual nurturing. The findings show that when applied thoughtfully, AI tools such as behavior monitoring, personalized feedback systems, and digital learning analytics can help educators identify students’ emotional and moral needs more accurately. These insights enable teachers to respond with targeted interventions that align with Islamic values and the curriculum of love. However, the study also emphasizes the importance of maintaining the human touch in character formation and ensuring ethical boundaries in the use of technology.
