Abstract

The era of globalization demands that every country can interact with each other, both for cooperation in achieving certain goals and competing with each other. Global competition requires us to have independence. Therefore, the role of education is needed in order to increase the nation's competitiveness so that it is able to be at the forefront at every opportunity.

The key to independence is high competitiveness and being able to win access to various opportunities created by globalization, educational institutions are required to be able to preparehuman capital individually, education broadly also has an important role in the prosperity of society in a country, because it is related to economic growth and the quality of human resources.

This study explains the importance of entrepreneurship education given to the younger generation through formal education, so that they can build independence in improving their welfare. Many parties consider that to build entrepreneurship, a person must have talent and skills, so that not all individuals can be involved in these entrepreneurial activities.
