Implementation of Muroja'ah Method in Memorizing Short Surahs in Kindergarten

Abstract

The Qur'an is the guide to life for Muslims, nowadays many people are competing to learn the Qur'an, both adults and children. The Qur'an is the last holy book revealed by Allah SWT. At the basic stage, the most appropriate is to learn to read the Qur'an from an early age. Because, at young ages a child's memory is still relatively soft to be formed and the factor of parents or teachers is quite dominant to shape their character. In this case, the author formulates the formulation of the problem How the implementation of the Muroja'ah method in memorizing short chapters and How the results and evaluation of the Muroja'ah method in memorizing short chapters.

 

The method used is a qualitative method, the results of the study state that the application of the muroja'ah method in memorizing short surahs in kindergarten is carried out in the last three weeks which is called a memorization tasmi where students deposit their memorization individually to the ustadzah who has been determined according to their respective groups so that from the results of the tasmi the ustadzah can find out where the child's ability is during the implementation of Muroja'ah short surahs. For the results of Muroja'ah memorization of short chapters in kindergarten, some have reached the memorization target well because they have reached the memorization target from surah An-Naas to surah Al-Adiyat and there are still some students who still reach the memorization target that is not good, but this will be targeted again when students move to class B so that the ustadzah will try to improve and maintain student memorization so that all students can reach the memorization target well.
