Quranic Values in Increasing Interest in Reading the Quran to Children in Batusuya Village, Donggala Regency

Abstract

As we know the Quran is the holy book revealed by Allah to the Prophet Muhammad SAW since more than 1400 years ago. This holy book has extraordinary powers that are beyond the ability of anything and anyone. The Quran is the source of law, norms, and values in Islam. The Qur’an constructs itself as a "Guide" (the way) that is straight". As well as providing meaning and value that is very useful in life. In this case the author formulates the formulation of the problem, namely how the values of the Qur’an increase children's interest in reading the Qur’an in Batusuya Village, Donggala Regency. This research method uses a qualitative description research method. The results of the study explain that the values of the Qur’an in increasing interest in reading the Qur’an to children in Batusuya Village, Donggala Regency, precisely at TPA Mandiri Batusuya, are carried out by looking at the form of values contained in the Qur’an, which cannot be separated from guidance, proof, guidelines for human life, and creating commendable morals, especially for children and the creation of a quranic generation that is beneficial to many people. While its application to children is carried out by TPA Mandiri Batusuya teachers by creating teaching and learning methods and the role of parents towards children in order to motivate children to want and continue to repeat the reading, and learn to read the Qur'an and know the value.
