The Effectiveness of Using Audio Visual Learning Media in Islamic Religious Education Learning at MTsS Alkhairaat Langaleso Sigi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using audio-visual media in learning,especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects to improve student learning outcomes and student learning outcomes after using audio-visual media during the teaching and learning process in claas. In learning activities, media can be interpreted as something that can convey information and knowledge in ongoing interactions between teachers and student.

This research is a quantitative descriptive study using the survey method,the data collection used is a survey with a table scale. In analyzing  the data, the researchers calculated the percentage of each indicator that was included in the “Good “Criteria. Then the percentage of students who were able to work on the questions and get perfect, almost perfect and imperfect scores was obtained. 60% of students who got a perfect score of 10, were students who successfully filled in and completed the questions properly and correctly. 20% who get an almost perfect score of 9 are students who have succeeded in working on the questions but are a little less confident with their answers. 20% who get an imperfect score of 5, are students who still experience problems in reading and understanding the questions so that in working on the questions they are not optimal. These difficulties need to be addressed solutions and handling from school principals so that the implementation of learning becomes more perfect and achieves educational goals as well as possible. The use of audio-visual media that is used can help students in learning and can increase students learning motivation.
