Implementation Of Zakat Fund Management In The Education Sector At The National Board Of Zakat (Baznas) Palu
Abstract
Educational problems still occur today, such as dropping out of school and the welfare of Alquran tutors. This study aims to identify the implementation of the management of zakat funds for education, especially for underprivileged children (dhuafa) at BAZNAS Palu. It is hoped that a good management can help solve educational problems. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods to explain the comparison of zakat management in the education sector. The results of this study are that the Baznas of Palu excel in terms of the number of educational programs that are running, there are 2 educational programs. When viewed from the eight groups of zakat recipients, the recipients of the benefits of zakat in the education sector at the two amil zakat institutions, between Yatim Mandiri and Rumah Yatim, can be classified as poor and fĭ sabilillāh.
